This computer is getting old enough now that I find it can get quite slow when a page is image heavy. And it doesn't like gifs at all. Those will sometimes completely freeze my browser. Hanapepe, I have the downloads of Regis, but they're my really high quality (and thus huge) files. I'll check the boards and should be able to find some smaller ones. If not, I'll do mine.

I think a part of me is going to regret skipping out on the Seattle shadow tour, though it's not when I was planning on being there anyway. In fact, right now there is an apparent scheduling conflict for those days I was originally planning on being in Seattle. Taylor is listed as a celebrity pro am player in this year's Regions tournament, in Bham, on May 13th and 14th. But THHQ is selling m&g packages for the same days - I would think that means he'll be in Seattle and not at home playing golf. Now I'll be in Miami on those days, hanging out in South Beach before we leave on the big boat on the 15th.

Posts: 139 02/28/09 15:57:13	I just watched the youtubes from the CB on Taylor's R & K appearance-too cute. However, I tried to convert them to wmv on zamzar, and they wouldn't open on my Mac-waaaaa! Is the youtube up yet of the actual date? I also went to aol.kids to stream the CD, and it wouldn't open either even though they had a listing up. So, I'm feeling Taylor deprived as I really wanted to stream that CD! I don't want to wait 10 more days!!

Posts: 7357 03/03/09 01:19:50 Admin	Wow. WTG Hanapepe. We've had an interesting night around here. I got home and the street was full of emergency vehicles - 2 cop cars, 2 ambulances, and 2 fire trucks - all with lights going. And all parked a couple of doors down from us. There was a lot of activity around the garage, and a tarp covering something on the ground. A little while after that a reporter from one of the local papers was at my door. The cops had told her that there had been a very tragic car accident. Her appearance was followed shortly after by the crime scene guys. We have been peeking out the windows periodically to watch the activity. Finally found out from the 11:00 news what happened. Apparently the woman who lives there was accidentally pinned between the garage wall and the vehicle being driven by her husband. (Who absolutely adored her. I don't for a second believe he'd intentionally try to harm her.) She died on scene, explaining the tarp in the garage. The cops have made it very clear that it was just a "tragic accident", but I guess the crime scene guys have to check it all out just to verify that fact.

That would kind of freak you when upon coming home... almost every day I check Tay's official page to see when/if the Portland shadow tour is going to be announced, and dang! Nothing! The Portland shows aren't even listed on there...waaaaaa! They officially went on sale here on Sunday, and I was panicking because I had lollygagged around on getting that "up close and personal" seat. I hurriedly called the Portland Opera (I'm a subscriber to the Broadway series), and got that last pit seat before the general public discovered it. I'm sure the box office guy thinks I'm nuts to sit that close with my head craned up, but hey-I wanna be close as my regular seat a few days later is miles away in the first balcony, and I have to use binoculars the whole show. Now to only buy those binoculars that also take pictures...

Posts: 7358 03/04/09 09:37:38 Admin	According to one of the moderators at THHQ, packages for Portland were to be released this week. So I've been fighting the flu all week. Sometimes I feel almost fine, and at others I've found myself holding onto the counter at work so I don't fall down. I should have taken a day or 2 off, but with this big media launch Friday, and all the visits ahead of time, I wasn't allowed to call in this week. Well last night the flu won. I came home, had a shower, popped a couple of Tylenol and came to get online. But before I could do that I found I was so cold my teeth were actually chattering. I must have had quite the fever. So instead I went to bed and slept over 12 hours. But I think getting really sick was what I needed, because while I still have a bit of a headache, and still feel rather blah, I also feel much better today. And I have today off, so I can have a jammie day and just rest before I need to go back tomorrow.

(And please forgive my absence from the board. I'm computer-less at the moment, and probably will be for the next few weeks.) Yes, we got about six inches of snow on Sunday and it was great. I had a snowball fight with some friends and stayed outside for a good chuck of the day enjoying it. Gerri - Sorry to hear you are sick. At least you have your cruise in a few months to look forward to! Hanapepe - I hope you get your tickets soon. You'll have to tell us all about it when you get back.

That getting the full flu was exactly what I needed in order to get better. I still don't have much of an appetite, but that's not entirely a bad thing - I am trying to get swimsuit ready after all. Sorry also that you are going through a rough patch Steph! Just 4 more "sleeps" until the CD comes out-whoo hoo! Every day I check the website for the shadow tour info for Portland, and nothing. Portland isn't even LISTED as having Grease on the official site-argh! I got the Wicked ticket lottery tickets for its opening night here on Wednesday, and there was a big ole flyer about Grease on the Broadway series table, AND, a FULL PAGE AD in the Wicked program featuring Taylor in Grease! He's getting big facetime in there with that as Wicked is here for almost 5 weeks! I checked out where my pit row A seat is going to be, and it is going to be about 10-15 feet from where he will be-EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Posts: 148 03/10/09 23:16:57	Well, y'all are going to think I'm a big dufus, but I spent almost TWO HOURS driving all over creation trying to get Taylor's CDs in my hot little hands today. I went to a WalMart 1/2 hour in the opposite direction from home in order to get it, only to be told when I got there that it was only available online...grrrr! There was an older lady there wanting it as well, and she doesn't have internet, so she was really bummed. She also doesn't have a Target close by, so she might not be able to get her hands on a copy unless she drives to the big city. So, after that, on the long way home, I stopped by a suburban Target for the CD. They were sold out! They found it at another Target another 20 minutes away, and I finally got one. Almost two hours just to get ONE copy, and then I wasn't sure that the bonus song was actually on there, so I called a friend that I had e-mailed the bonus track names/stores to, and she couldn't remember. So, I hope it has the bonus track on it!
