Posts: 7330 02/05/09 07:33:26 Admin	Taylor has started singing WRIR after the curtain call. Apparently he comes out in costume for the bows, then skips "Grease is the Word" to change. When it's over, he comes out in his own clothes and sings WRIR. I so want to see him do the new stuff. Makes me regret the fact that I'm not going to get to see him in May. I'm going to want to cry if he ends up doing a shadow tour date the same weekend I had originally planned to be in Seattle.

Posts: 7332 02/06/09 07:31:55 Admin	I'm exhausted. The turnaround when I close one day then open another just kills me. It was after midnight before I was able to fall asleep, meaning I got less than 5 hours. Zzzzzzzzzz. I think it's a Starbucks day. But at least after this I get the weekend off.

Makes sense, seeing as how they are closing down 700 stores. Today's been pretty boring, and I'm plans-less tonight. =/ On the up side, it'll give me time to watch all the movies I've been downloading. I just finished Another Gay Movie (Which was pretty much a gay version of American Pie, I thought it was pretty good.) and now I'm gonna watch Zach and Miri Make a Porno. Kevin Smith. <3

Posts: 7333 02/07/09 09:10:50 Admin	I never eat at Starbucks. Nor do I get breakfast at McD's. If I want something in the morning I either go to Tim Horton's and get a muffin or bagel, or I just grab something in the store. I usually keep a box of granola bars in my desk, for those mornings where I don't have breakfast, and then get hungry mid-morning. I tried to curl up and watch Lost last night, but I ended up just going to bed because I was falling asleep. So I still have half of last week's episode and all of this week's to watch later today. I needed the sleep - I just got up, so I slept almost 10 hours. Normally I need 7.

Posts: 7334 02/08/09 09:07:25 Admin	I hope you had fun last night. I actually got to listen to a cellcert last night. Taylor sounded so good. The connection was lousy during "Woman's Gotta Have It" so I didn't get a good feel for that one, but I really liked "Hide Nor Hair", and I already knew I love WRIR. It was a fun night and I'm so glad that I got to hear this one. After the show I was pretty wired, so I curled up to watch a movie. "Black Circle Boys". It's pretty awful and I only got about 1/3rd of the way through it before I started nodding off. I'm going to finish it today though - my plan was to watch all of Donnie Wahlberg's movies before my meet and greet in April - and I'm still working on it. I need to cross this one off the list. The good thing is that I've actually liked all the others, and I started watching with the ones I thought I'd like the least, so the ones still to come I should like more. I even liked "Dreamcatcher" though it was weird, and there were a few moments where I was hiding my eyes. It's that whole Stephen King is a sick and twisted man thing.

I'm not sure I believe it. I'm going to take another day off later in the week, because I won't get that time back otherwise.

The only reason I'm on now is because I'm using the wifi at the daycare center. Speaking of which, I'm considering taking a nap myself. It's been a pretty rough morning. I made the mistake of drinking a large coffee an hour before lunch, now I'm not hungry, even I'm feeling weak and should probably eat something. Bluhhh. =/

Posts: 7338 02/13/09 08:09:49 Admin	No internet! Gasp. That would drive me insane. I'd be spending a lot of time at the Starbucks, now that we have one in the neighbourhood, using their free wifi. It's pretty unlikely we'd ever lose complete access in the house, given that we purposely use separate providers to ensure we don't lose service. The only time we might would be due to a blackout - and those are very, very rare here. I drink a lot of coffee first thing in the morning - 2 cups, sometimes 3 on days like today when I'm home - but I rarely drink coffee after about 8 am.

Posts: 5195 02/15/09 17:31:05 Moderator	The internet is back up (Bellsouth had some major wiring problem, it affected many in town.) but now I have a virus. I jokingly blamed one of my friends because she wanted me to find a song for her, and when I went on the site to download it, my computer went kaput. So now my dad's going to end up having to reformat it, and I'm going to have to hear all about how irresponsible I am, blah blah blah. Although I think I should get some responsibility points for what happened last night. I was at the movies and there was a shooting and the first thing I did was call my dad and let him know that I was alright. I didn't physically see the gun or any blood, I just heard it and ran. But the icing on the cake was as we were running, my girlfriend dropped her keys, so we had to go back in there to get them. I didn't want to go to that particular theater in the first place because the it's pretty ghetto (Which is a tad ironic, because ten years ago it was the nicest section of town.) but at least now my point has been proven, and I won't have to worry about anyone trying to talk me into going there again. When is Taylor going to be back on Regis and Kelly? Since I'm probably not going to have much computer access this week, I need to catch it live.

I can't connect to my wi-fi network at home (But I can connect to most others, which is weird.) and my computer is running absurdly slow. =/ I've got Regis and Kelly set up to record all this week, there were some other guests listed that I want to check out. Although the more I watch, the more I can't stand those two. My dad actually met Regis once, when we was doing the sound for an Imax theater in NYC. He said that Philbin is a real jerk off. Thanks for the pics hanapepe. I'll be sure to check them out.

Posts: 7342 02/17/09 08:59:28 Admin	I like Kelly with Taylor. I think her little crush on him is adorable. Taylor ended up being on yesterday as well, in a pretaped piece introducing the bachelors. I posted the video links in the DWTS thread. I had a horrible time trying to get that video up. I was able to grab it, edit and convert no problem, but then it wouldn't upload. Both sendspace and youtube would get part way and then fail. Roomie had said he was having problems with his internet being slow, so eventually I just copied the file to my external hard drive and uploaded from my own computer. When I did that it uploaded to both sites just fine. Thanks for the pics hanapepe. I'll check them out.

A friend of mine fixed it so I can at least get on the internet, but it's still really messed up, and I can't view any images. Do you realize how many images there are on the internet? A lot. One of my good friends is moving away to Nebraska tomorrow, so we're throwing her a going away party tonight. I'm rather excited, a girl I've had my eye on is supossed to be there tonight. =]]] Hope everyone's havng a swell week!
